What you need to know about the new School campus on Findon Road.
If you have been down Findon Road recently it would have been hard to miss, Nazareth College is building a new campus at 344 Findon Road, Kidman Park. The third campus joins the Flinders Park and Findon campuses in the Nazareth community and will cater to exclusively year 11 and year 12 students.
The site will provide general learning spaces, student hubs for collaboration and self-directed study, a performing arts space, music suite, food and technology kitchens, design and technology spaces, engineering and STEM facilities, arts, sciences, a double court gymnasium, outdoor oval areas, weights and fitness facilities, a café, student services and administration spaces.
If you have been passed recently you would have seen that the construction is very close to being finished with an estimated movie in date of Week 10, Term 2.
We have spoken to the parent of a Nazareth student who will be moving into the classroom on campus upon completion “My daughter is in year 11 and is so excited. She cannot wait to walk into the shiny new classroom. They have watched walk through videos and it looks to be a state of the art facility” Says Emma.
So, what does the new school mean for the local community and area? "The new campus is a great addition to the area. It's sure to attract families to neighbouring suburbs who want their children to attend" says Braeden O'Donnell, Sales Consultant at Century 21 Western/Coastal in Lockleys.
